AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
