We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
