AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
