And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
