With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
