We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
