We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
