We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
