And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
