We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
