Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
