We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
