And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
