With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
