We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
