And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
