And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
