AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
