AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
