By oath of (mount) Tur. 1 and the Book inscribed 2 In a Scroll unfolded; 3 by the established House (Mecca), 4 And the lofty roof. 5 And the swollen sea 6 Verily, the Torment of your Lord will surely come to pass, 7 There is none that can ward it off. 8 on the Day when the skies are convulsed, 9 And the mountains will move with a visible movement. 10 Woe, then, will be on that Day to the beliers 11 Those who in wading sport themselves. 12 the day when they shall be pitched into the fire of Gehenna: 13 “This is the fire, which you used to deny!” 14 What, is this magic, or is it you that do not see? 15 Go now and burn in it. It is all the same whether you bear it patiently or do not bear it with patience. You are only being recompensed for your deeds.” 16 Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure, 17 rejoicing in all that their Sustainer will have granted them: for their Sustainer will have warded off from them all suffering through the blazing fire. 18 [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." 19 They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 20 And those who accepted faith, and whose descendants followed them with faith – We have joined their descendants with them, and have not reduced anything for them from their deeds; every soul is trapped in its own deeds. 21 And We aided them with fruit and meat, whatever they desire. 22 while they pass therein a cup one to another wherein is no idle talk, no cause of sin, 23 ۞ And there will go round boy-servants of theirs, to serve them as if they were preserved pearls. 24 And some of them shall advance towards others questioning each other. 25 They say, 'We were before among our people, ever going in fear, 26 and God was gracious to us, and guarded us against the chastisement of the burning wind; 27 Before, we were supplicating to Him. He is the Giving, the Most Merciful' 28
