The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the mount 1 And by the Book Inscribed. 2 in an exposed parchment 3 by the much-frequented House, 4 and by the lofty vault of the sky, 5 and by the swelling ocean, 6 Most surely the punishment of your Lord will come to pass; 7 Of it there is no averter. 8 On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion 9 and the mountains shall violently fly about. 10 Woe will be to those who rejected the Truth 11 Who, ignoring the Reality, engage in pleasantries. 12 The Day when they will be pushed down by force to the Fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing. 13 and they will be told, "This is the fire which you called a lie. 14 Was it, then, a delusion or is it that you failed to see [its truth]? 15 "Burn ye therein: the same is it to you whether ye bear it with patience, or not: Ye but receive the recompense of your (own) deeds." 16 Those who fear God and follow the straight path will surely be in gardens and in bliss, 17 rejoicing in whatever their Lord has given them. Their Lord has saved them from the torment of the Fire, 18 (To them will be said:) "Eat and drink ye, with profit and health, because of your (good) deeds." 19 The God-fearing shall be reclining on couches facing each other, and We shall wed them to maidens with large, beautiful eyes. 20 And (as for) those who believe and their offspring follow them in faith, We will unite with them their offspring and We will not diminish to them aught of their work; every man is responsible for what he shall have wrought. 21 And We will aid them with fruit and flesh such as they desire. 22 They shall pass therein from one to another a cup wherein there shall be nothing vain nor any sin. 23 ۞ And round them shall go boys of theirs as if they were hidden pearls. 24 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 25 "Before this, when we were among our families, we were full of fear of God's displeasure -- 26 "But Allah has been gracious to us, and has saved us from the torment of the Fire. 27 "Verily, We used to invoke Him (Alone and none else) before. Verily, He is Al-Barr (the Most Subtle, Kind, Courteous, and Generous), the Most Merciful." 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
