Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Tell them: “Wait; I too am waiting with you.” 31 Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? 32 Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith. 33 Let them produce a phrase like it, if what they say is true! 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 Or, [if you believe in God, how can you believe that] He has [chosen to have] daughters, whereas you yourselves would have [only] sons? 39 Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
