So exhort (them, O Prophet), for by your Lord's Grace, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 If they say, "He is but a poet; we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him," 30 Say, "Wait, I too am waiting with you". 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 Or do they say: He has forged it. Nay! they do not believe. 33 Let them produce a phrase like it, if what they say is true! 34 Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? 35 Or have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact they are certain of nothing. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Do they have a ladder (by which they can climb up to the heavens) and listen (to the angels) and come back to the rest of the people with clear authority? 38 Or has He (Allah) only daughters and you have sons? 39 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they become weighed down in debt? 40 Or that the Ghaib (unseen) is with them, and they write it down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 the day when their guile shall avail them naught, and they shall not be helped. 46 And verily for those who do wrong there is a torment before that; but most of them know not. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
