Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him"? 30 Proclaim, “Go on waiting I too am waiting along with you.” 31 Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say, "He has invented it himself"? Indeed, they are not willing to believe. 33 So let them bring a single discourse like it, if they are truthful. 34 Did they come into being without any creator? Or were they their own creators? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]? 37 Or have they the means by which they listen? Then let their listener bring a clear authority. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! 42 Or have they a god other than God? Exalted be God over what they ascribe as partners [to Him]! 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs when they shall be struck down, 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
