Remind them, therefore, that by the grace of your Lord you are neither a soothsayer nor possessed. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? 32 Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. 42 Or have they a god other than God? Exalted be God over what they ascribe as partners [to Him]! 43 And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 The Day when their plotting shall not avail them at all nor will they be helped (i.e. they will receive their torment in Hell). 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
