۞ How many an angel there is in the heavens whose intercession avails not anything, save after that God gives leave to whomsoever He wills and is well-pleased. 26 Those who do not believe in the life to come call the angels by female names. 27 And they have thereof no knowledge. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. 28 Therefore turn away from whoever has turned away from Our remembrance and has desired only the life of this world. 29 This is the farthest limit of their knowledge. Surely your Lord alone knows best who has strayed away from the path and who has come to guidance. 30 And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, that He may requite those who do evil with that which they have done (i.e. punish them in Hell), and reward those who do good, with what is best (i.e. Paradise). 31 Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him. 32
