Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
