HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 and covered them with torment. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
