Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
