(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
