Prostration

Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
