Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
