So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
