Prostration
< random >
Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. (Command of Prostration # 12) ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
