Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
