Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
