Prostration
< random >
Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 Thamud, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
