Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
