(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
