Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
