Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
