(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
