Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
