Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
