Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
