So did you observe him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 Thamud, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
