So did you observe him who turned away? 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
