Seest thou one who turns back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
