Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
