Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
